ÑOMI is a cookie brand offering three classic flavors: Brown Butter, Dark Chocolate Chip, and Semi Sweet Chocolate Chip.

For a packaging design class I created a brand with three packaging extensions. Since baking is one of my favorite hobbies I made ÑOMI (pronounced “Nyo mee”) a name inspired by a playful Spanglish take on the word yummy. I wanted a name connected to my language but easy for anyone to say and understand. The brand feels fun approachable and genuine like a homemade treat you reach for after a long day.

Along with the cookie packaging I designed a shopping bag that ties into the brand. Instead of focusing on one flavor the bag features all three in a row keeping it consistent with the original system. A red ribbon a dotted textured background and the ÑOMI logo centered on the front help the design feel bold clean and cohesive.
